Sulfadiazine is a sulfonamide antibiotic that works by blocking the production of essential folic acid inside affected cells disabling DNA synthesis.
Sulfonamide will be catalyzed to competitive combine with the pteridine in stead of the PABA in synthesis of folic acid, inhibiting produce of folic acid.
