Cefixime is a third generation cephalosporin antibiotic which works by interfering with the linkage of peptidoglycans in the cell walls of non-resistant cells and triggers activation of autolysins that further damage the cell. Cefixime is used as a selective antibiotic for E Coli O157:H7 pathogen.

Store in an airtight container and protected from light.

Usage: Usual dosage is 400 mg in two divided doses for up to 5-7 days
