(Deoxyribonuclease I; DNAse 1)
Molecular Biology Grade
Deoxyribonuclease I efficiently hydrolyzes single-stranded or double-stranded DNA in the presence of divalent cations, producing 3’- hydroxyl oligonucleotides. Useful in crucial RNA preparations from tissue or bacterial cell cultures. Attention is need to ensure all equipment and glassware is RNase free.
Solution: Chromatographically purified to remove RNase and protease. Supplied as a solution at approximately 2 Kunitz units per microliter (approximately 1 mg/ml) containing 50% glycerol and 1mM calcium chloride. Store at -20°C
Lyophilized: Chromatographically purified to remove RNase and protease contents arrives in a vial containing glycine and calcium as stabilizer. Please take care as lypophilized DNAse I is moisture sensitive. Store 2-8°C
