Synthetic Defined Medium w/ Tryptophan and Uracil Dropout

 (-Trp/-Ura Media; -Trp/-Ura DO Supplement)

Formula: per liter: Peptone 20g, Yeast Extract 10g, Glucose 20g.
Usage: dissolve 50g of mix in 1 liter of water, adjust PH to 6.8, autoclave at 121oC for 15 min.
Storage: in tightly-closed container at room teperature.

Contents:

  • Yeast Nitrogen Base 1.7 g
  • (NH4)2SO4 5 g
  • Glucose 20 g
  • Agar 20 g
  • 1x Amino Acid

Use:

Dissolve 47.2 g of mix in 1 liter of water, adjust pH to 5.8, autoclave at 121 °C for 15 min.

Storage:

  • Tightly closed at room temperature.
