Gentamicin Sulfate is an aminoglycoside antibiotic produced by Micromonospora. Gentamicin Sulfate is used to treat many types of bacterial infections, particularly for those caused by gram-negative bacteria.

Gentamicin works by binding the 30S subunit of the bacterial ribosome, interrupting protein synthesis.
